Gregory M. Hoffman

RAPID CITY - Gregory M. Hoffman, 46, Rapid City, died Sunday, June 3, 2001, at

Rapid City Regional Hospital as the result of a motorcycle accident Thursday evening east of Chadron, Neb.

Greg was born June 21, 1954, in Rapid City, the son of Lawrence and Peggy Hoffman. He graduated from Stevens High School in 1972.

Greg worked as a mechanic and heavy-equipment operator. He was a machinist for the BN&SF Railroad in Alliance, Neb. Greg was interested in car-racing activities.

Survivors include his mother, Peggy Hoffman, Rapid City; daughters Amber Steele, Rapid City, and Andrea Patrick, Lewisville, Texas; sons Cody Hoffman and Brandon Huth, Rapid City; a brother, Steve Hoffman, Seattle; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, June 7, at Osheim-Catron Funeral Home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. Pat McCorkell, S.J., officiating.

Interment will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery.
